The Journey
In collab with PROOF /Moonbirds

My goal with this piece was to create a Mystical Moonbirds World, showing the journey of a Flower bird as it explores its surroundings — meeting friends from Owlchemy, SpaceBirds, Ladybirds, Dead Birds Society, Hot Wings and many other subparliaments along the way. 

This is without a doubt the most ambitious piece I created thus far!

It was a collaboration with PROOF Collective / Moonbirds NFT project and I couldn’t be more honoured to share my art with this amazing community that emerged from the LOVE FOR ART. It was commissioned by the team and airdropped as a reward to nested Moonbirds with the “Flower” headwear trait. You can explore the collection on OpenSea here.

I couldn't help but shout out Conrad Roset as a big reference when creating this piece. Him, Eyvind Earle, Moebius and Hayao Miyazaki were my biggest inspirations for this artwork. I will forever hold these legends near and dear to my heart, for helping me shape my art and become the artist I am today.
