Lisbon Street

A private commission I absolutely loved working on!

Although I’m originally from Porto, I always enjoy spending a few days in Lisbon — it’s such a vibrant, colourful city with an undeniable charm. This illustration was inspired by the quiet magic of a typical Lisbon street: tiled façades, overflowing plants, laundry dancing in the breeze, and the golden light of late afternoon.

The brief was open, and I was given total creative freedom to imagine an idyllic, slightly whimsical version of a Lisbon building — one that feels alive and full of tiny stories. I used a dreamy pastel palette to bring out the warmth and joy I always feel when walking through Lisbon’s neighbourhoods.
