Fundão - Rua da Cale

This illustration was commissioned by the Fundão City Hall to celebrate their summer festival, “Festival Cale & Sangria Agosto 2025”. It offers a sweeping panoramic view of Fundão—zooming in on the charming Rua da Cale—to evoke the warmth and vibrancy of the season.

I love transforming ordinary streets into magical, idyllic scenes, and for this piece I chose a soft, sun‑kissed summer palette that reflects the festive spirit that fills the town each August. In addition to its digital life on social media and the festival’s website, this artwork will also be featured across the city in MUPIs and outdoor displays, as well as printed in a limited edition series to be used as institutional gifts — bringing a touch of Fundão’s summer magic into homes and offices.
